Breanne Ellison EEBW EST Reiki ll

West Coast Animal Massage

I am a horse lover, lover of all animals actually, rider, farmer, mother and most importantly the woman who comes to your barn to make your horse feel better.

My approach to bodywork is through an anatomical as well as functional view.  When my hands connect with muscle, my mind is automatically conversing with the horse's body. Each part of the horse's body is a piece to the puzzle and each muscle has a story to tell, how it got the way it is, what the horse is struggling with functionally because of the limitation of that muscle and what we need to change to keep the muscle in good health.  Clients have described me as thorough, accurate, gentle, kind, empathetic, intuitive and effective.

My job is to make your horse feel their best, preform their best and move through the training levels comfortably and free from pain.

I want you to spend more time in the saddle, doing what you love with a horse who is comfortable and happy.

I am a member of the Equinology Equine Bodyworker Association and a Certified and Insured Equinology Equine BodyWorker. I have graduated from the British Columbia College of Equine Therapy’s two year course and have attended many courses through Equinology Inc.

I am fascinated by the body of the horse and in my commitment to understand their unique workings and discover ways to help them,  I continue to take courses, workshops and attend lectures yearly.

Massage is my GO-TO tool of choice, there is nothing quite like the feeling of a tight muscle melting under your hands, becoming pliable and functional and seeing the relief and gratitude that overcomes the horse. As a think out of the box kind of girl I have equipped myself with the knowledge and training of a variety of tools and modalities as a compliment to massage some of these tools include red light therapy, myofascial release, energy work and aromatherapy.

I'm a big believer in the team approach and am happy to refer you to chiropractor, veterinarian, farrier, saddle fitter or other member of the equine wellness team as necessary. My main priority is your horse’s best interest!
